Earth day was firstly held in the USA. Earth day is celebrated by many countries around the world. The only planet, where life is possible is Earth, a combination of natural resources such as water, oxygen, and gravity. Earth day is celebrated to spread awareness among people regarding the effective measures that one should take to prevent the earth from deterioration due to global warming. It focuses more on sustainable development. To curb the pollution and global warming one should plant more of trees. Deforestation should be prevented, it causes loss of home and atmosphere to many species. Global warming should be reduced by limiting the use of fossil fuels and electricity. To save the earth from destroying one should use solar products. To save our precious planet one should follow the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
