This Proverb means that we should never leave confidence in difficult times because it will lead to better days. A dark cloud is a kind of difficulty, misfortune and worst times in life .Problems are like dark clouds which block the sun from shining but if we look more closely at the edges we could see the sun shining as silver. The silver lining is a hope for progress and an opportunity to go ahead in life. This refers to the fact that every problem in our life has a solution and we have to find it. If the problem upsets us, we can gain hope and be sure that there is something good following that problem. Hope for the best and have patience. We should not give up and blame our destiny; we have to wait for the good time to come up in life. Life is a mixture of light and dark phases. Each one of us has to experience the dark sides of our life. This helps us to gain experiences and develop positive attitude towards life.

The persons who have achieved great success in life had a very poor and hardworking background through which they came up after fighting against each and every obstacle in life. We should be focused, determined and accept every failure wholeheartedly since failures are the stepping stones to success. It makes us to learn new things and improve our potential and skills.
