It was inspired by Lion city cup that was created by Football Association of Singapore in 1977. It has 24 wonderful teams, most successful team ever is Nigeria with 5 titles.

The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup was the 17th U-17 World Cup. It took place in our India between 6 and 28 October 2017.It was participated by 24 teams from 6 federation's. A total of 52 matches were played. The matches were played in six staduims in six host cities around the country, India. The official match ball of the tournament was Adidas Krasava.

The Nigeria couldnt reign over and continue thier title. Instead, England won the U-17 World Cup for the first time after a two goal deficit and beating Spain 5-2 in final.
