Water is very essential for life,so we need to conserve it.Nowadays, we use and misused water much than what we need.Everyone must know that it is our primary duty to learn the importance of it and how easy it would be to take action now before it’s too late.

Conservation- Conservation is referred as “the act of preserving, guarding and protecting or wise use of environment or its natural resources.” It can be done or start even on the small amount of adjustments that could possibly turn out into a big blast in conserving more water now and for future use.

How to conserve water?

We can simply start conserving water from our home.Sometimes we don’t care how much water we waste in doing our daily chores. There are those simple ways in which we take water for granted like for instance when brushing teeth or washing hands we use to let tap water flow instead of turning it off to save it.

Water recycling could be best done too! You can cut down your water usage through proper recycling in your home. You can start up from your kitchen wherein you can save those leftover drinking water to be used for other possible purposes.Make Use of Shorter Showers - Shorter ones use less water compared to longer showers.

What will happen to the next generation ?

If exploitation would still prevail, what will happen to the next generation? Maybe there would be a war for just a pail or with just a glass of water? Or war between strong nations around the world just for the sake of one fourth of that 1% fresh water availability left for them? Better think twice.

It is our great responsibility for them to pass on those natural resources unharmed for them to cherish too.It is a fact that conserving water is taken for granted these days because of its great increasing need worldwide not mentioning of the truth that freshwater resources now are extremely dying for human consumption because of water pollution.

Conclusion

Water is life as they say. So we need to give importance to it and continuously preserve and protect it not only for ourselves now but for the next generation for them enjoy the beauty, essence and the natural taste of water for them to cherish, protect and preserve too in order to pass it on for their next generation too!

What is water conservation ?

Water conservation within itself it includes all the strategies , policies, and activities to sustainably manage the natural resources of fresh water and to protect our hydrosphere, and to meet the current and future human demands. The factors that affect water conservation is household size, population size and growth and affluence all affect how much water is used.

SOLUTIONS TO WATER CONSERVATION:

There are many methods by which we can conserve water we can start methods to conserve water from our home itself. We can use simple techniques like while brushing our teeth we can make sure the tap is not running. We can stop the usage of showers for bathing as it wastes a lot of water. If we find any leaks in the kitchen or toilets we should make sure to get them repaired as soon as possible. We can use plants that do not require much water for their irrigation. The hose which we use to water the plants or wash our cars wastes a lot of water ! We should try avoiding using a hose for these purposes.

Water plants only when they need them example in the monsoon season we don't need to water the plants as it gets water from the rainfall. In swimming pools a lot of water can get evaporated when it is kept in the open and this may require water refills more often so it is advised if we cover the swimming pools we can prevent this evaporation of water. One of the best methods for conservation of water in India which I feel is Rain Water Harvesting. In this method we use a tank and direct the rainwater that falls on our house onto this tank so that it can be collected and stored in these tanks for later uses. In places like Rajasthan this method is widely used to store the  water in the underground tankas as they call them they use this water as drinking water and for other domestic purposes. If we do not start adopting these water conservation techniques right now then the earth will fall in the scarcity of water many experts say. If we use water wisely and carefully then there will be enough water for us and for the future generation as well !
