The first two cases of the COVID-19 pandemic were confirmed in the Indian state of Gujarat on 19 March 2020 from Rajkot and Surat who had a travel history to Saudi Arabia and London respectively.
There are total 8,194 confirmed cases in the state which include 2,545 recovered cases, 5156 cases under treatment and 493 deaths.
