Strong determination and hard work can make impossible things possible. Students should be focused and industrious to achieve their dream, said Angul district Collector Anil Kumar Samal, while presenting the OP Jindal Scholarship 2016-17, here on Monday.
Remembering his own experience as a student, Samal said he could become a topper in IIT, Kharagpur because of his hard work and determination.
The Collector handed over the scholarship to 58 meritorious students of Chhendipada and Banarpal blocks in the district. Extending his warm wishes to the meritorious students, Angul location head and executive director in-charge Dinesh Kumar Saraogi said “I am hopeful that this scholarship will help the meritorious students to achieve their dream”.
Among others, DEO Sachidananda Behera, DIPRO Sarat Chandra Sethi, GM-TA to chairman Ashish Pandey, group head (CSR) Prashant Kumar Hota , DGM CSR Pushpalata Satapathy and parents of the meritorious students were present.
