Harmful effects of bursting crackers on Diwali:

Well people really don't know that happens when we burst so many crackers on the same particular day well I agree that there are many people who are educated and they even know what are the effects and the harms that are going to take place but they just don't regret. Indeed many television channels warn us and even we see many news paper articles about this but we think well it's just one day what is even going to happen, this only a small amount but yet we know that small amount from myside and another amount from your side and from other who are celebrating this festival would really make a much difference. Pollution we know that we are causing a lot pollution but yet for the festival of Diwali not just Diwali even many other festivals like the first day of Sankranti we burn firewood to produce heat and protect our self from the cold, Dussehra we burn the look a like made up of cloth and even grass of Ravana to represent that the evil in the world is end and we can live happily. But by burning up all the evil we are actually creating one more evil which is more dangerous for us that is pollution. By bursting crackers actually there is a lot of sound and even air pollution. People actually who are good hearing power but after this festival there are many people who I've seen that are suffering from the ear pain due to which they have to visit the ENT specialist to get cured and even the people who suffer from the breathing problems due to which the their health will get even more spoiled. So, we need to celebrate our festival in the traditional way that is lighting up the diya all over our house will the homemade ghee but not by bursting crackers and making a lot of mess and let the chemicals which effect the small animals let them inhale and kill themselves with out even though they didn't do any thing wrong. When it comes to the stay animals like the small dogs and even cats they actually cannot bear the sounds and even the chemicals due to which they'll actually die which is really the worst thing, there are many organization which are helping them by adopting them and keeping them safe in far way places by taking care of them which is really a great and even the appreciable thing according to me. So, hereby I conclude that there are many effects of bursting crackers on Diwali.

Harmful Effects Of Bursting Crackers On Diwali

Burning crackers on festivals causes unprecedented air and noise pollution. In the name of celebrating the festivals people give excuses for this mass pollution drive. We must celebrate festivals differently. Our cities have already become polluted to the maximum. Let’s not pollute them anymore! Cannot we celebrate festivals without crackers? Is it compulsory to fill our already polluted environment with more poison? Are we wise in doing so? Why do we precipitate the process of our own fall and sufferings? Bursting fire crackers has only disadvantages! Wastage of money, poisonous smoke, unbearable noise, fire accidents, garbage, litter, etc! And still we want to burst them!

Crackers often contain elements like copper, cadmium, sulphur, aluminium and barium to produce the vibrant colours once ignited. The harmful gases produced from the bursting of crackers, such as Nitrous Oxide, remains in the air for a long time if the city doesn't get enough rain or strong winds. Inhaling the fumes emitted by firecrackers increases the chances of asthma attack among patients. Heart patients and patients of chronic bronchitis and low immune system are at high risk too.

Let’s join hands to say no to crackers while celebrating festivals. Let’s not poison the air our children breathe. We have the responsibility of bequeathing a cleaner and healthier future. If we won’t ensure their safety and happiness, who else will?
