Essay on History of Global Warming
Answers
The Warming World Around Us The world is warming and we cannot deny it, the longer we deny the larger the problem it will become. Global warming is affecting the world economy, the overall health of the population, and most importantly the environment that surrounds us. Ignoring this problem will not just make it suddenly disappear; the world has to make an effort to stop it while it can still be maintained. Accepting the fact that it is happening is just the first step, the next step is taking action and becoming informed on the issue. Leaders from all around the world are discussing the topic of how global warming is happening and what toll it is taking on the world (Pew Global). They met in Copenhagen to discuss the changing of the climate (Pew Global). They came to the conclusion that they are willing to sacrifice a little to confront the issue of global warming (Pew Global). If containment of this problem is expected, effort will need to be put in. Global warming seems to be less of a problem in the US, China, and Russia but it is still a major problem around the world (Pew Global). Just because the US is not affected as much at the moment who is to say it will stay that way? Global warming could hit the US hard at any minute it is the Americans job to be prepared and properly informed. Of the people of France, Japan, and Spain 68 percent believed global warning to be a major issue and one that needed much more attention than it has been getting (Pew Global).

Step-by-step explanation:
Global warming
Global warming is a part of climate change and is partially caused by increased greenhouse gases from burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, agriculture, and other industrial causes.
The Earth's temperature had already warmed by 1°C compared to pre-industrial levels. This temperature rise may appear small, but small rises in temperature translate into big changes for the world’s climate. This is because the amount of extra energy needed to increase the world’s temperature, even by a little, is vast. This extra energy is like force-feeding the global climate system.
·Hotter days
·Rising sea level
·oceans are warming
Melting glaciers, early snowmelt, and severe droughts will cause more dramatic water shortages and increase the risk of wildfires in the American West.
Rising sea levels will lead to coastal flooding on the Eastern Seaboard, especially in Florida, and in other areas such as the Gulf of Mexico.
Allergies, asthma, and infectious disease outbreaks will become more common due to increased growth of pollen-producing ragweed, higher levels of air pollution, and the spread of conditions favorable to pathogens and mosquitoes.
