Hey mate! Here's your answer::
Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends. A very warm good morning to one and all. You all must be aware that Holi is around the corner. So Today I am going to speak about this festival of joy which is coming on this March 2nd.
As Diwali is the festival of lights, Holi is the festival of colours. It marks the arrival of spring and is celebrated along the length and breadth of India with much pomp and show. There are mainly two stories associated with the origin of Holi. One is to celebrate the victory of good over evil. ie the victory of Prahlad over the demon, Holika. Also there are another popular story of Krishna and Radha associated with Holi. Krishna is blue-skinned and Radha was fair. Due to Krishna's complex, Yasoda adviced Krishna to put some colours on Radha so that they look identical.
What ever the origin may be, people celebrate holi together unbounded by selfless joy. It is a secular festival. People throw powder colours and water among themselves embrace each other and have fun.
Also, there are some precautions we have to consider while celebrating holi. Avoid putting colours over a stranger as sometimes that person does not like doing so. Also, certain colours cause allergy to certain people. So the use of herbal colours instead of chemical ones is ideal. One should also be careful not to throw the colours to eyes while playing. As the head girl of this school, let me wish each and every one of you a very happy Holi. in advance. Thank you.
