essay on homework about 100 words
Answers
The majority of students dread hearing the word "homework." The last thing we need after spending hours upon hours in class is additional homework during our valuable weekends. Homework is a well-known component of traditional education, but it has also evolved into a wide range of subjects. Some people consider homework to be an essential component of education, while others think that the time could be better used elsewhere. The fundamental goals of giving homework to pupils frequently coincide with education in general. However, there are a variety of reasons why teachers assign homework, including reinforcing concepts covered in class, extending concepts to new contexts, planning for upcoming lessons, getting students actively involved in learning, developing time management and study skills, encouraging collaboration among students, fulfilling school/district policies, exhibiting a rigorous academic programme to others, and punishing a student or a class.
What is Homework?
- A series of chores given to pupils by their teachers to be done outside of the classroom is known as homework or a homework assignment.
- Required reading, writing or typing assignments, maths problems to solve, knowledge to be reviewed before a test, or other skills to practise are examples of typical homework assignments.
Therefore, it's unclear what homework's impacts are. In general, homework doesn't help young kids in their academic achievement. Older children' academic abilities, particularly those of lower-achieving students, may be improved by homework. However, homework also makes kids and parents stressed out and takes away from other activities that students might enjoy doing.
