It is not about reading education books and remembering things that are in your books when you go for a tour or go out for a trip, then you learn from that experience, more than education.

Meeting other people learning about other people's culture is also an education, because you get an exposure and learn about different cultures by traveling.

Reading books will not be good to learn new things in the form of travel because in this medium you are learning practically, you are reading yourself with new learning which is available around the world, people travel freely but if we Think about it, like educating yourself with more new experiences

For example, if we are reading about other cultures then it will not be like meeting people of that particular culture. You can read about the famous places of the world but can go there and find out that it will be more beneficial for you and you will be able to remember all details in depth.
In order to teach the students and to educate them with new experiences of different cultures, schools should put more emphasis on traveling to different countries or cities.

Education and Tourism Go Hand in Hand

Augustine has rightly said: ‘The world is a great book, of which they who never stir from home read only a page.’ It is a well established fact now that travelling gives a character to our knowledge. While travelling we have firsthand knowledge about the place we are travelling. We actually see the place with our own eyes, and its memory stays with us throughout our life. For example reading about Ooty may be entertaining and appealing, but visiting Ooty in person will surely be thousand times more, educative, entertaining and gratifying. Standing on the tallest peak Doddabetta, roaming in the botanical garden, boat ride in the Pykara lake, visit to tea and coffee plantations, etc will fill you with ineffable thrill.

Tourism and education go hand in hand. As we travel we meet more new people, cultures, and lifestyles.  This learning of new cultures, places, and life-styles is a kind of education. With all the newness in our life, we are also opened to new insights, outlook, and perception of the world and living, which often gives us a new purpose for our lives. Our mind forgets the insipid burdens of his professional life. While travelling we make new friends at the new place and carry their memories home. Thus, travelling makes the inhabitants interconnected. We start feeling ourselves as members of one big family of mankind living on one home planet. This makes life more wonderful. In order to be truly educated, we must travel regularly to different places in all parts of the world.
