I spend my leisure time by reading story books, gardening and collecting stamps. Reading story books is my favourite leisure time activity. I have a lot of story books and other books too. The set of books of magical craft fairies is my favourite book series. My father, mother and grandmother give me books as gifts for my birthday, New Year and when I get high marks at term tests.
Gardening is an interesting leisure time activity. Also, it is one way to earn an extra income for our family. We get vegetables and fruits for our meals from my little garden. I water the plants every evening. Father and mother also help me with gardening.
Collecting stamps is an activity which provides knowledge of the world. I have three albums of Sri Lankan stamps and foreign stamps from China and Japan. Father and mother give me stamps whenever they get them.
I get pleasure by engaging in leisure time activities. I have extra leisure time activities such as making key tags and sewing cross stitch designs. These things keep me happy in my free time.
