This summer, I went to kerala with my family. i have never been to kerala before. we left on 13th of april. we had reached the railway station 30 minutes early. the city cummer heat killed me. the train arrived and i was the happiest person on the earth to finally sit inside the AC coach, eating my chips. It was a long journey. i slept, played and even coloured on my phone. at every stop, i got out with my father to take a picture. these pictures were memories of my first travel to kerala. when we reached a particular stop, a new family joined us. they were good people. i didn't get bored after. the following day, we finally arrived at kerala. as i got out of the train wearing my backpack, the summer heat hit me. it was so hot, i could barely even open my eyes. so i had to put on my sunglasses all of the time. We booked a cab and went to the hotel. we had a reservation so the bell boys took our bags to the room. i felt at peace. i went inside the suite and was awed. it was a pretty big room with a huge bed. i went and jumped right into the bed.
i had missed sleeping on such a bed for 2 days. but i don't regret going in a train because i enjoyed. so we all had our baths and went to a restaurant. the aroma of that place was so good, i felt like i could eat the air. i was very hungry so i decided to order the restaurant's specialty, the big dosa. it was yummy and very huge. my parents were surprised that i could finish it.
we then went to the elephant rehab and played with elephants. i even gave an elephant a neat bath. we spent a lot of time treking over there. after that we headed to the forest. we had guides with us so that we don't get lost. we saw tigers, lions and peacocks too. as we continued, rain poured heavily. i was drenched. but as we halted under a large tree, we had witnessed the most beautiful view in our lives. we saw three peacocks open their wings and dance. their wings were so enormous, i wanted to take a picture but i couldn't.
later on we changed and went to another famous restaurant for lunch. i had ordered a south indian special food. it was delicious. we returned to the hotel and slept for a while. as it was around 4 pm, we were on the journey to the beach. it was so huge and blue, i wanted to get drenched in it, and i did. i went way too deep in the craze of a beach that it worried my mother. so, i had to return to the shore. i made sand castles and every one of them was washed away by the ocean. it was around 6pm and the sun's reflection on the waves was so pretty.. this time, i had captured it. the sun set and we left.
the other day we went to a hill station. it was a beauty and i was happy to have experienced it. my vacation at kerala was really fun. i consider to visit the place once more and venture it even better.

Summer vacation is the most awaited time of the year. It gives us an opportunity to relax from our daily routine. It gives us liberation kind of feeling. In this summer, I visited Kerala with my family. Although,summer is not the perfect season to visit Kerala, we visited there because of summer holidays. We visited Aluva on the first day. We visited a park and enjoyed elephant riding. We saw tea plantations there. The resort we stayed was surrounded by mountains. We had a good stay there. On the second day, we went to Thekkady. It was a beautiful journey travelling through hills and mountains. We enjoyed visiting Rose Garden, Echo point and shooting point there. It was a good jungle destination and a heaven for natural species. On the third day, we visited Alleppey house board. It is known as Venice of the east. We had an amazing boat journey there. On the fifth day, our journey ended after visiting Cochin. The old fort was good to see. Hence, our summer vacation in Kerala eded this way.
