ANSWER:
As I am at the stage of leaving the school and stepping in to a new world,I look back and think deeply about people who have a special place in my life,who have shaped and influenced my life. I am still very young,only 15,yet the foundation of my character have been laid, some values instilled in me by my parents,my teachers. I am at a stage where the opinion of peers matter to me a lot but they are also immature as I am.
Now let me talk about the person who has influenced me the most. Who is that special person in my life? I would obviously choose either my mom or dad,but wait! The person is my class teacher of std 9th. Now the question arises why have I chosen her? Even she would be surprised if she reads this.
I will call her Mrs X. tall,slim, with a very pleasant smile ,the first thing u will notice about her is her dignified behavior,her simple yet very sensible sense of dressing,always immaculate in her appearance.Her biggest asset was her sweet voice and her twinkling eyes.
In the two year I studied with her,she never raised her voice,never made a rude or insulting remark and had a remarkable sense of humor. Yes that is what I- infact all of us loved about her. She could laugh at herself also and thoroughly enjoyed when we played a trick on her. I remember she was telling us not to use slang in our essays and write proper english.But when unconsciously she herself used the slang,"Don't be smart Alecs!"We all shouted,"Teacher,slang!" She graciously accepted her mistake and laughed over it and so did we.
She was punctual,absolutely fair and impartial,never had favorites and always came prepared.If she was stumped for an answer or wasn't sure she never bluffed. She would admit her and promise to find out the correct answer.And she did in the very next period she would have it. Our homework was corrected with extreme care and returned on time. The girls used to go to her with their personal problems and she would listen attentively and sympathetically.Her advice was always practical and helpful.
On special Saturday she would play games, tell us storie, hold discussion and competition.She bought prizes from her own pocket to reward the winners. When I think of her I realise I learnt so much in her conduct
She never made fun of the weak students She never imposed her style or views on us, but allowed us to think independently,develop our own style of English.Her disciplined impartial,her punctuality was a lesson I learnt from her.And above all she also taught us how to accept jokes against us and be just and kind.
