When I was just a young girl, I always dreamt of something. One day, I hurriedly went to my friend lata's house and asked her, "Lata my friend , what does one do to make a wish come true?"
My Lata answered back with a smile. "You know, Naina, just wish upon a star and wait until your dream comes true," she replied.
After that, I thanked to my friend lata and back to my home. That night, when I was preparing to go to sleep, I looked at the sky through a window and looked for a perfect star to wish on. When I finally found a perfect star, I expressed my wish of having my dream to have a baby sister come true.
Days went on and my dream of a baby sister still didn't come true. But I didn't lose hope because Lata told me to wait for it to happen. Then, one day, Papa brought myself to the hospital. There I saw a baby being held by Mama. I hurriedly asked her if it was a girl and Mama answered, "Yes, it's a girl!"
From that day on, whenever I had a dream and wanted to see it come true, I wished upon a star.
