When newspapers and articles was hugely reduced in size due to shortage of newsprint after the 2nd World War where few were publishing reviews "The Curse of Ignorance" received considerable name.

Following are extracts from some reviews it received.

"Mr. Arthur Findlay takes no trouble to make his history perfect.

In his narrative ranging from old times to end of the 2nd World War he has combined a life-time of learning.

This wealth of knowledge he gave the title "The Curse of Ignorance" as because this was a history with a reason for a monument in fact to mankind.

"Arthur Findlay's "The Curse of Ignorance" is monumental where it ranks him as Ist-class historian to be compared with Gibbon and other great writers.

One respect it puts him before of them his lucidity.
