Well , as we all know that newspaper are being used everywhere.Now newspaper is considered as the basic needs of people. Everyone read newspaper daily in fact our daily routine start with our newspaper.Some people feel uncomfortable when they don't get newspaper for reading. A connection has made between people and newspapers.

Newspaper has changed the Lifestyle of people . The changing lifestyle has had its effect on newspapers and other mass media and they in turn have influenced individual as well as community life. Earlier, newspapers were black and white in color but with changing times , the colour of printing newspapers became common and now we can see it in many different colors and different types.

During early post independence period,newspapers had multiple objectives.In this period,the newspapers were expected to not only give imputes to industry and commerce by printing advertisements.

Newspapers functioned with the following objectives:

:shape public opinion
:direct it towards constructive work
:at times lead the latter
:carrying task on the public education
:keep a watch on the working and machinery of ruling government .

Newspapers plays an important role in a democratic country like India.As we all know that India is a democratic country where people elects there representative as a political leader to lead the country ahead by showing their skills and experience in politics and knows how to run a country economically, politically, socially etc.

Newspapers and other mass media keep in suggesting the leader , giving the feedback from the people on their work and also sending the messages from politicians to the local people. Making awareness about the policy and schemes of the government to the people is also done by with Help of newspapers.

We get current news , current affairs of National as well as of international from newspapers, updates of jobs , news of sports, rural as well as of city . We get everything from newspapers. Newspapers help us in gaining our knowledge, our aptitude or general awareness.

Earlier, newspapers were thought to be the mouthpiece of the taluka or district.But,now they have to face tough competition from the state level newspapers chains.But on the whole we can say that newspapers are now becoming more active. Their scope has enlarged to include more number of articles, information, cultural activities to make people aware about this .By seeing all these we can say that newspaper is important in our life.

It is our duty to know about what is going in the world around us. Without this knowledge it will be difficult for us to live in the modern world of information technology.
This knowledge is easily provided to us by newspapers. So newspaper reading has become necessity.

It gives us not only news but also critical views on important subjects. We needn't always agree with these views but they kindle the thoughtfulness. "This thoughtfulness is the essence of life".

A modern newspaper caters to the needs of various sections of society. There is material for old and the young, for women and children, for the academician and the sportsperson.

So, it's not only useful but, it's very enjoyable.

A newspaper also links between the government and people. In a newspaper we find what the government is doing or intends to do. It also tells us what the people at large desire.

"Newspaper plays an important role, it gives us new way to understand things".

There are four aspects of life in newspaper can help us. The first is offcource the news itself. All of us like to keep in touch with the world about.

The second benefit of newspaper-reading is entertainment. Almost every newspaper gives some interesting literature like stories or poetry along with the news.

The third benefit is it's utility for job seekers. Those who need services, advertise in the newspaper and those who needs jobs apply for them. It's really helpful who needs job.

The last but perhaps the biggest use of newspaper is for the advertisers.
By advertising in the newspapers they reach with their product to the millions of newspaper readers.
