Independence Day is a national festival celebrated in India, this day is been celebrated on 15th August of every year. We got independence on 15th August 1947 that is we got free from British rule, hence this day is been celebrated as Independence Day in India.
History
Our country India was been ruled all over two centuries which is the biggest year where our country was ruled by the other country people. Our country people suffered a lot due to the problem given by the British people to the Indian people because of the Indian people where salve of those officers those days.
Till the people pursue the strength of fighting against the British they were the salves of the British officers. For the independence, there was the great hand of Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and many of the great leaders some of the leaders took the way of non-violence and some took the violence path.
During the free of our country from the British Raj, there were numerous deaths, sacrifices, protest, movement and many of the problems were faced by the common people also.
Why is day celebrated
Independence Day is been celebrated because there is a great struggle of many people in India during the free to India from the British.
