Mahatma Gandhi a honourable person who sacrificed a lot for India's independence so that our motherland India would be free from the cruel British people who made indians slave of them.he was against any violence act he always used to teach everybody about the non violence act .he was a calm person who wore a dhoti, and one chashma on his face.a great lesson for modern India from mahatma Gandhi could be that he was always against the principle of violence but today's world everyone is violent infact if any small things would also happen they would raise their gun and may be harm anyone . secondly Gandhiji would do his work all by himself and would not take anyone's help in doing his work but in today's world everyone wants his or her work to be done by others which is wrong and there were many more lessons that people of modern India can learn from honourable mahatma Gandhi.

Call him Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi, just Gandhi or Bapu, he is undoubtedly the greatest political figure in the modern Indian history.
The fond Father of our great nation has not only fetched India its freedom but has also weaved all the Indians as one united nation with his non-violent movements for civil rights and freedom from the British rule.
