A total of seven companies have been identified as the lowest bidders — 1 (L1) for the first phase of Telangana Drinking Water scheme (Telangana Water Grid), financial bids for which were opened by the officials on Septemebr 10th,2015.
Megha Engineering, IHP, Kaveri Infra, GVPR Engineering, Pratibha Industries, Koya and Company, and NCC were the companies identified in the preliminary round as the lowest bidders respectively for the nine segments of works in Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak, Adilabad, and Warangal districts. The amounts quoted by these companies were 0.2 per cent to 1.2 per cent less than the contract value, a press statement informed.
Of them, Megha Engineering has been identified as the L1 bidder for three contracts worth Rs. 5478.66 crore in Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy, Gajwel and Paleru-Warangal segments. For Jurala-Gadwal segment, IHP was the lowest bidder, for Medchal, Kaveri Infra, for Nalgonda Tailpond, GVPR Engineering, for Sangareddy, Pratibha Industries, for Yellampalli-Manchiryal-Khanapur, Koya and company, and for Warangal Metro, NCC has been listed as the L1 bidder.
