Being from North India , I am attached to the beautifying scenery of villages like Uttarkashi , Tehri, Chamoli , Pauri , Nainital and so many hill Stations. So , it must be obvious for a nature loving guy like me to opt the hill stations surrounded by villages apart from plains. Talking about mine favourite Destination then I would rather opt for Auli situated in Chamoli District , Josimath. Auli is a hiking and ski destination and after the creation of the state of Uttarakhand, formerly part of Uttar Pradesh, Auli was marketed as a tourist destination. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. Winter is the best season to visit Auli and make the most of everything it offers to you. It's snowfall time in Auli from December to February and the best time to visit Auli. During the months of December to March, the Auli becomes an attraction for the winter sports enthusiasts, due to heavy snowfall which makes it ideal for winter games such as skiing, snowboarding, snow trekking.
