Explanation:
One of my favourite board game is snakes and ladders. I had always wanted to know how it felt to be in the game. Every day, I would take my game set out, call my little sister and start to play the wondrous game. Usually, I would win but today was different. My sister beat me and I went insane. My sister was cheering and teasing me while on the other hand I was screaming and screeching with slight jealousy.
I ran, feet kissing the ground, all the way to my room. Suddenly, I saw a swirly and glistening light. I walked forwards to take a closer look and the portal sucked me and I fell inside. I felt dizzy for a few moments but later I found myself in a board game called snakes and ladders. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Was I in a dream? Well, I wasn’t. I found myself so tiny and there was another little statue with teeny tiny eyes like me. I looked above and to my horror, I saw two giant faces staring at me with a bizarre look on their faces.
I looked around me and saw millions of snakes with slanting green, clear eyes. They all had smooth scales followed by their forked tongues. I was very afraid to compete with the other competitor and the snakes. Suddenly, a player grabbed me by the neck and slid me all the way across the board to number six. It was the other player turn and they played on and on but I never got chased by any snakes. It was a head to head challenge with the players. I and the other competitor were both on the number ninety-eight. The player moved the other competitor one step ahead and I had a chance of winning.
The player rolled the dice and it landed on the number two. Yay! I won and the two players congratulated each other. Suddenly, the magical portal appeared again. I ran as fast as I could and I jumped into the portal. This time, I landed on my soft and comfy bed to relax after a long-winded day.
