Shimla also known as Simla, is the capital and the largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamsala being the other capital. Shimla is also a district which is bounded by Mandi and Kullu in the north, Kinnaur in the east, the state of Uttarakhand in the south-east, and Solan and Sirmaur. In 1864, Shimla was declared as the summer capital of British India, succeeding Murree, northeast of Rawalpindi. After independence, the city became the capital of Punjab and was later named the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is the principal commercial, cultural and educational centre of the hilly regions of the state. As of 2011, the city had 171,817 permanent residents, and was one of the least populous capital cities in India.

Shimla is one of the beautiful vacationist places in India. We organized a journey and visited Shimla for a few days. . The comfort was simply wonderful and we drove for trekking after a small rest. We experienced the enjoy at Chadwick Falls, Jakhoo Temple, Dhanu Devta Temple, and Tara Devi Temple. We toured the most notable place known as Gaiety Theatre moreover the Foundation of various buildings in Shimla is completely amazing. The most enjoyable part of the weekend is the Yak Ride at Kufri, a site which is nearly 16 km from Shimla.

First of all, we went to endure the countless experience of a fun-filled toy train journey which is occurring within the stations of Kalka and Shimla. After this, we toured some of the temples after short trekking. We also had ultimate relaxation in a spot named as Kufri which is approximately 16 km from Shimla. This place has magnificent natural landscapes and we also relished Yak riding at Kufri.
