Who has taught me something about myself that I never knew
That despite all the challenges and mountains left yet to climb
I know that with your guidance I will reach it in due time

And with my dreams I sometimes wonder

Of the many inspiring lessons you did teach
Thank you for your inspiring lessons of English language and literature
Introducing me to the marvels of Austen, Doyle and Shakespeare
For the subject I love most of all, creating a passion that is rife
A passion I will carry with me through the rest of my life
