Explanation:

Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan and has a population of 2 million people. I chose this city to be my hometown for many awesome reasons. Islamabad has so many great qualities.

Islamabad’s name comes from two words, “Islam” and “abad” which mean the “City of Islam.” Islam is the largest religion in the city (at 95.53%). There are also 4.07% of the people as Christians and Hinduism is about 0.02%. (There are also other minorities at 0.03%)

The main languages of the city are Urdu and English. But there are also people who speak Pothwari, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, and other languages. There is so much diversity and so many people to learn from!

It is a wonderful tourist attraction for Pakistanis and foreigners alike. The seat of the Government of Pakistan is there along with the Pakistan Monument (one of the two monuments in Pakistan). Islamabad is also the home of the largest mosque in South Asia, the Faisal Mosque. This mosque is the fourth largest in the world and is quite a beautiful sight to see.

Islamabad is considered as one of the earliest sites of settlement of Asia. This means that the city as a lot of historic sites to visit. Some of the oldest Stone Age artifacts lie there (about 500,000 years ago) along with pottery and utensils from prehistory!

Hope it will help you a lot
