Answer:

When you sacrifice your life for your motherland, it's not just your life and happiness that you put on stake but also that of your family..

Doing so, you not only serve the nation you serve humanity!

Sleeping on the ground so that the people in the country can have a sound sleep

Not having cozy blankets to let others get the warmth in freezing winters

Moving to places, adjusting to every climatic condition so the nation can have a peaceful environment

Suppressing all the emotions and being the strong one so the others can have these privileges is no less a sacrificethe

etc etc..the list goes on.. But most importantly!

Staying away from your family, not getting to see them for months, not getting to see your child grow, not getting to grow old with your significant other, not getting to spend the last of your parents life with them, not getting to eat your meals with your family, being away from all the celebrations so that the nation can celebrate, leaving home not knowing if you'll come back alive!!

And serving a nation like INDIA where your own people throw stones at you! Where your own people call you “rowdy” if you take an action to stop the anti-nationals! Hands down! It's the greatest sacrifice one can make!
