Natural calamities such as earth quake and tsunami brings major disasters to human kind.

They affect human life in effective way:

                                                                 <3 people loosing their lives

                                                                 <3 re-constructing buildings,roads

                                                                 <3 money lose

                                                                 <3 need a lot of hospitality to take care of all the injured people

                                                                  <3 need a lot of food to supply all the needy people

FOR EXAMPLE :

                               In 2015 Chennai faced a heavy flood, people were loosing lives,small kids to elderly people every was so sick of this situation.

Some fell sick.government faced a bulk of money lose.people's properties was ruined.people were whelmed with emotions.who knew they would be in a situation like this, but in the other way there was a lot of unity among them. Another example;

           The recent hot news which was the top headlines of the past months. "Kerala", faced a very big disaster.This flood is double of Chennai's flood.Continuous rain fall and due to out of stock food people where completely was devastated.kerala would never forget this flood.

                     In my opinion natural disaster is not happening naturally,it is due to humans' needs.So people must stop considering it as natural disaster instead call it as human disaster.

    Hope this would be helpful for you.   :) <3

Answer:

Natural calamity is any event that occurs due to the "natural processes" of the earth like earthquakes, cyclones, tsunami etc. They occur due to the various geological processes occurring inside as well as outside the earth. They cannot be prevented but the extent of damage can be minimised. However even though humans have built and developed devices to predict future occurrences of these disasters, yet these devices are not foolproof. Because excessive damage to not only property but life as well. This can be seen with the recent examples of cyclones Fani and Hudhud. More than "200 people" were killed in them.
