Answer:

Recently I went to an NGO for my field work in Bangalore, SOS which is for destitute and orphan children. There are about 160 children living there and since I got to spent 25 days there I got to know quite a lot about the place and also to spend some time there with the children there. There were children who were very small or young and had been brought there because they didn’t have parents or had parents who could not afford to bring then up so they were put there, father was an alcholic or one of the parents is suffering from some communicable disease like TB or HIV.What was heart-warming to see was these children having a true genuine smile on their face. The only thing I could give them was love and affection and that I gave them in abundance.

They will value it the most because they don’t expect anything from you, they are very innocent. The only love that they have got is from the people they live with or live around so anybody who makes them feel special will make them most happy.I talked to them and thats the greatest lesson I learnt there that true happiness lies in giving and that is above anything else in this world .They are children who don’t expect anything from you.and the greatest happiness in life lies in giving and sharing and treating everyone as equal. When you go to these places you become selfless and thank God for being kind to you for giving you all the luxury and necessities in life and giving you people who love you, care for you and making your life special.

It makes you value your and other people’s life more and also to value your life and make it worth living and meaningful. We have to be grateful to god that we have someone to call our own.It was a very good visit which made me a better human being and a more giving human being.
