Noise pollution is harmful to our physiological well-being. Noise pollution can cause hypertension, high-stress levels, tinnitus, hearing loss, sleep disturbances, and other harmful and disturbing effects. Noise is any disturbing or unwanted sound, and it affects people's health and quality of life. Prolonged high levels of noise can cause hearing loss and stress-related illnesses. The adverse effects of noise pollution are more pronounced in children than in adults.

We can Reduce Noise pollution by turning off appliances when not in use, use of earplugs, lowering the volume, planting more trees, regularly maintenance of vehicles and machines, etc. Industrial facilities should be constructed away from towns and cities and other human settlements. The use of loudspeakers and the bursting of crackers must be banned. By controlling noise pollution we can improve the well-being of the citizens. Hospitals and healthcare systems can provide better treatment to the sick if they are not overburdened by too many patients.
