Answer:

Living things are the things that have life in them and are alive by breathing air and by eating or absorbing food and energy respectively. Some of the most common example of living things is human beings, plants, organisms etc. However non-living things are the exact opposite of living things that is the things that has no life in them and are not alive.

Some of the non-living things are rock, soil, water etc. Like living things, non-living things do not require to breath or need any kind of energy to survive. They are just things that lay around us and wherever we look we can see more than enough non-living things all around us.

Non-living things help us more than one ways and we cannot live without the help of these things. The plate in which we eat the food or the fork that we use to eat the food with is also non-living thing. Non-living things are all over around us. They help us greatly with our day to day activities. Without their help human beings cannot survive and yet we are the creatures who created these non-living things.

I never thought about it what would have happened if I were a non-living thing. But now that I think about it, non-living things have its pros and cons both like two side of a single coin. The perks will be – if I were a stone or rock then it will be nice to not break easily and if I were a vase or something made out of glass then I would be used as decorating purpose or be useful to the human beings.
