Answer:
I would like to draw your kind attention on the fact that board examinations like high school certificate examination and higher secondary school certificate examination are drawing near. So this is the time for students to make great preparations for their examinations to get good marks. But we see that people play on loud speakers on every occasion for a long time till late hours in the night. This creates a lot of disturbance in the studies of the students. They are unable to concentrate their mind on their lessons because of the noisy atmosphere everywhere.
Sometimes the sound of the speakers is so loud that it seems it will tear the curtain of our ear and make us deaf. The small children are unable to take proper sleep in the night. The sound of the loud speakers makes them awake at an uncertain time. This makes the parents uneasy and disturbed.
The patients who are taking rest on their bed are unable to sleep and take proper rest. In other words every person of our society is affected by these loud speakers.
Hence I request you to put ban on the use of loud speakers on seeing the inconveniences of students, small children, parents and patients so that they may do their work properly
Answer:
The insensitive use of loudspeakers
Every year, during religious occasions, we have to face the annoying loud music played over loudspeakers. Festivals are a part of our religious, and social life. The problem is not celebration of festivals, but the manner in which they are celebrated. Most of the popular festivals in India are celebrated using loudspeakers to play music at high volume throughout the day and all night long.
This practice by religious organisations is public disturbance and a major cause of noice pollution. Noise pollution is known to cause headache, irritation, and other health problems. We must also sympathise the sick people as well as children and infants who need to rest and sleep properly.
The irresponsible use of loudspeakers interfere with the students who are studying for school and college exams, competitive exams for jobs or doing their daily homeworks.
People need to be aware that our freedom must not become a serious problem to other people. I strongly feel that the use of loudspeakers should be banned in residential areas and defaulters severely penalised.
