The scale at which humans are using renewable resources is not only extracting future resources for future generations, but is also disconcertingly polluting our environment. The consequences and repercussions of the unsustainable use of fossil fuels have adversely impacted humans. Our environment is like a giant cloud with translucent life-sustaining gases which are tainted with tar-like pollutants. Conserving oil will not only protect oil deposits for future generations, it will also allow us to protect our environment. 

Explanation:

• The burning of fossil fuels has destroyed this magnificent environment to such a degree that it is difficult to return it to its sublime purity & elegance.  It is understood that carbon dioxide, a gas emitted as fossil fuels are burned, is one of the key gases causing global warming. Earth temperature increases have resulted in the melting of the polar ice caps, floods in low lying areas & rising sea levels. If these circumstances persist, our planet Earth will face some severe ramifications in the immediate future.
• Apart from harming the environment, air pollution due to the release of gases generated by fuel burning could lead to asthma , pulmonary diseases & lung cancer. Long-term exposure in people can increase respiratory problems. Natural flora & fauna are impacted by chemical pollution which further worsen the imbalance in the ecosystem.
• India is one of the major oil importers in foreign nations.  A substantial portion of our national funds is expended on oil imports. If we had certain substitute fuel for gasoline, we might have saved too much of our resources & invested on other development activities.
• Conservation of fuel is not merely a matter of concern at the present time. This colossal mission must be achieved by the cooperation of all citizens. Garrulous & frugal use of fossil energy is the most important requirement of the hour. The current pace at which fossil fuels are being consumed is very troubling. None will be available for the coming centuries.  Hence, w e must follow the ideals of sustainable development. After all, it is our duty to leave a stable and productive world. It is our spiritual duty to be parents & elders.
• The best solution in front of us at present to solve the issues presented by fossil fuels is the prospect of using renewable energy sources. The   need for electricity cannot be fulfilled by fossil fuels. It would lead to environmental degradation as well as total destruction. Renewable energy options are the good proposition in this situation. For instance, sun is  a renewable & clean source of electricity. Taking into account both environmental & economic impacts, solar energy works cheaper than fossil fuel resources. Until we learn the strategies of using solar energy, it can be a critical supply of energy for the whole world.
• The increase in economic activity & the rapidly growing population has resulted in a massive demand in the transport sector, particularly in urban India. A very important problem has arisen with the immense development in keeping air & noise control in urban areas under control. The realistic alternative to the problems described above is the use of electric vehicles ( EVs) on the roads. The Government should promote and motivate people to replace their pollution-causing cars with smart zero-emission vehicles. To this end , the Government must implement tougher environmental conservation regulations. The Government should also provide subsidies for these smart cars.
• Oil is the greatest treasure of the world to be conserved by taking the required action before time runs out. Otherwise, all the warmth and prosperity will be ripped away from our future generation only because of our lack of consideration. Appropriate knowledge among citizens and the implementation of such losses in the conservation of oil can be quickly and effectively accomplished. Small actions made by each and every person will avert a global disaster in the future.
