one act play is called a monologue in this kind of play ,only one character plays the role of dramatising on stage ,although this kind of play is not really common it is comkon in som parts of the word or it can come indiffernt forms for example in a dirge song ussually tis is an example of a monologue or a one character play
in this paly one character talks to himself and in most caes he answers himself but a times it can be a inner dialogue where the character talks to himself or inwardsly without having to utter a wiord but the audience are able to deduce something from mhius actions
