Pollution is the process where harmful susbtances enter our environment. Substances which causes pollution are called pollutants . There are four major types of pollution.

• Soil Pollution
• Water Pollution
• Air Pollution
• Noise Pollution

Pollution is leading our Earth into danger. We need to protect this. To avoid pollution we should -

• Plant more trees
• Cut less trees.
• Throw garbage in dustbins
• Avoid throwing garbage in road or river
• Burn less fuel

Air Pollution:

1. It is is one of the main pollution..It is caused by many types:
2. Gases released by automobiles.
3. Burning of wastes,fuels.
4. Gas released in factories and industries.
5. Air pollution due to transportation.
6. Air pollution due to overuse of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG.)
7. Many countries face this air pollution problem..
8. It is main reason of many types of diseases.

Water Pollution:

This pollution is caused by many types:

1. Dumping waste and garbage in oceans and rivers like water sources.
2. Dumping of acids and chemicals, plastics in like wastage of industries and factories in nearby water resources.
3. Use of village pond for all purposes in an improper way.
4. Unclean drains/drainage helps mosquito breeding and pollutes environment.
5. Water contamination is causes due to not keeping its sources clean and tidy.

Sound pollution:

1. Use of loudspeakers horns at high tone..
2. Hazardous ammunition used in wars and nuclear test.
