4. It also sometimes leads to conflict between two states, two districts or even two cities or locality.

1. No single community can take decision unilaterally.

2. It is realised that unity of country is only possible by repecting feelings and interest of different communities.

3. Reduces conflicts between different social groups.

4. Stability of political order is achieved.

5. Better outcome.

6. People have right to be consulted for governing practices.

7. All have a voice in shaping public policies.
