Natural disasters is the things that cause destruction due to the natural processes and things present on earth. These involves the flooding, heavy rains , storm and extreme climatic conditions. This also include the earthquack also. The prevention of these are necessary because these caused not only damaged to property and money loss but also results in the precious human life losses. The natural disasters can't be stopped but their affect can be minimized.
The storms occured due the pattern of weather . These can be the result of global warming so effects of thee can be minimized by the planting of more trees and forest, this not only helps in regulating the normal conditions but also minimized the land sliding at the hills and mountains . Similarly floods cause many lives losses every year . these are reduced by the proper planing of running water in rivers by constructing dams and other alternatives sources to keep the water level at control.
Moreover proper prediction of weather by the respective government institute can be result in prevention by taking the important steps like movement of people from one area to another to prevent life losses.Similarly floods and storm , cyclones can also be predicted. As regard to earthquake prediction they are not so much successful now a days but people can be trained to cope the situation and minimized the effects.

We are at a time where our society is able to bring the full force of scientific and technological advances to reduce the number of human tragedy and economic losses due to natural disasters. Although, we must take an integrated and diverse approach to disaster reduction, bringing new emphasis to research on disasters, on pre-disaster planning, and on preparedness. It is up to us to include disaster education and preparedness of the public as well as early warning systems, in which people at risk receive, understand, and act upon the warning information conveyed.
Natural Disasters are the consequences or effects of natural hazards. They represent human, property and economic losses and they signify a serious breakdown in sustainability and disruption of economic and social progress. The overwhelming number of dead or seriously injured and homeless people after the occurrence of a natural disaster and the massive amount of money to be spent for reconstruction and rehabilitation equates to a natural disaster. They are nothing else but extreme environmental events that impact human activities. Hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions are the most frequents threats, as well as flooding, tornadoes, and droughts, which are also prevalent (UNESCO). Because of these natural disasters there are one million people around the world that die each decade and millions more homeless each year (FEMA).
