Rainy season is the favourite season of almost everyone as it comes after the very hot summer season. According to the Hindi month it falls in Asadha and Shawan. Everyone enjoy it a lot as environment becomes so clear, cool and clean because of the fresh air and rainy water. Plants, trees and grasses become so green and look very attractive. New leaves are arising to the plans and trees as they get natural water after a long time of hottest summer. The whole environment gives a greenery look all around which is very nice for the eyes.
Rainy season brings my lots of favourite festivals like Raksha Banhan, 15 August, Teej, Dussehra, etc. We also enjoy eating lots of fresh fruits and well ripe mangoes in this season. I never want to lose this season. My mom cook lots of delicious dishes (such as pakaude, edli, halwa, tea, coffee, sandwich, etc) to us while its raining.

I love rainy season very much.It occurs in month from July to September.Rainy season is very essential for crops to be grown.In rainy season we get rid of the heat of summers & we feel very relaxed due to rains.In June we get ripen mangoes to eat.Our schools start during rains.It is so enjoyable to go to school in such a good weather.Black & grey clouds can be seen in the sky.When there's heavy rain in August & September, lightning occurs & heavy sounds of thunder can be heard.After sometime when the rainfall stops, we can see a rainbow in the sky.It looks so beautiful.When there's heavy rainfall it becomes a good reason to stay at home rather then going to school,colleges or workplaces.We can simply enjoy at our homes by eating hot pakoras,etc. & also it is so beautiful to place our hands outside the window & let our hands get wet by the raindrops.The noise of the raindrops pitter-patter is a good song to hear.We can sleep for long time in rains as there's nothing to do & I really enjoy it in sleeping during rains.Whole atmosphere becomes so amazing & nice.Due to rains,there's greenery everywhere.Birds sing melodious notes in monsoons & they bathe in the rain.It is so attractive to see peacocks dance in rain.There are puddles everywhere on the roads.& when we stepout on the streets we love to jump on these puddles & splash the rainwater on the friends.Rivers are filled with water for the whole year.There's no shortage of water.We make use of the raincoats,umbrellas & gumboots in this season.Due to this season,we get food to eat.Otherwise if there's no rain,no crops can be cultivated.So,one should do rainwater harvesting to preserve rainwater for future use.Thus, rainy season is a season of joy,happiness & its a wet season.
