26 th January known as republic day is a natural festival of India. On 26th January in 1950, the constitution of India came into force in our country and in order to pay respect to the constitution, Indian people celebrate this year as Republic day every year. We, the people of India have got the chance to celebrate this day only because of the sacrifices of many freedom fighters. They scarified their lives for us and made our country free from British rules. So, we pay tribute to them on Republic day.
Republic day is nationally celebrate in front of India get in New Delhi where the first citizens of India take part as the chief guest. Soldiers from our national defense forces take part in the Parade their. Indian Army demonstrates all the great power or weapons of India army like tanks, modern artillery, etc.. After that the national flag of India is unfurled and jets of Indian Air Forces display a spectacular show in the sky.
On the other hand, the Republic day of India is also celebrated in almost every government or non government organization. All govt. and private school and college also celebrate Republic day by organising different events. Students take part in the Parade,speech,dance,and many other competition are organized among students. Our freedom fighters are invited to felicited and to honor as well.

The day will start with great job smooth the parde and the national flag hoist and the function will be in most of the schools. As today is Sunday most of the people stand before the TV, Live at Delhi, etc.. The day stars with great job and the programs of India national army, India national navy and Indian National air force.
The republic day function is at Rajpath, Delhi and programs start at 9:30 am. And importantly the republic day celebration is for three days.
There might be many cultual and tradional functions, flag hoist, etc.. There may be crores of cores people all over India watching this celebration live and even all over the world India from other countries. A salute to the our great India Army, Navy, Air Force. Celebrate this 71st year with great joy and happiness.
