- it could lead to many lifestyle disorders: heart ailment, obesity, diabetes, etc.
- 'money makes the mare go': you are able to get anything and everything U want easily
- this entails a lack of appreciation for the privileges you enjoy
- U r often far removed from the harsh realities of life faced by the majority of people around you
- there is no understanding or connection with the day to day struggle of the common man's life
- the divide between the rich and poor is growing bigger in most nations

- the unequal distribution of funds has led to lack of basic public services and facilities for the common man
