Life Insurance Corporation of India has invested customers money for the development of the nation by lending it to the union government. In this aspect all the 2048 branches spread across the country are doing an excellent service, said Rajegowda, Divisional Manager of LIC.

Inaugurating the first Vima Gram of the division at Thoppanahally village near here on Friday, he called upon people to invest money in the LIC instead of private monetary organisations, which do not have a commitment towards the nations development.

He also delivered a cheque of Rs 25000 for the development of the village to Mr Yallappa, the President of Gram Panchayath.

M Narayanaswamy, former MLA said, earlier LIC was operating in the urban areas only. Now its service is extended to villages too. The farmers should invest money
with the LIC for the betterment of their future.
