ESSAY ON SAFER FUTURE FOR YOU AND YOUR COMMUNITY

The greatest fear and the only driving factor behind all the competitions in today’s daily life is the need and wish to procure a secure future. The rat race has just one motive- to reach the zenith, sometimes applying the formula of – hook or by crook. In this race, sometimes a lot is lost and a lot wronged, to other people, just to win; sometimes such idiocrasies are fatal and heart wrenching.

The most endangered community is the Homo sapiens community cause humanity each day is getting lost with each day. Each new day brings headlines of crimes that are unthinkable and downright disgusting. Such are the statistics that it is difficult to rate the actions and their deserved results.

Despite so much hubbub and pandemonium, nobody is ready to lend over the baton to the next person. All we want is the credit to our names, sometimes, even without working for it. It is sad, how exploitation is the major trade and earnings ratio in the world, where, abuse, trafficking, and unemployment, works majorly and real success is in a minority.

If only we understand, that one person can make a difference and it is never too late to mend, can we create a better future. As for making it safe, we need to have proper political agendas, and instant and justifiable punishments for heinous crimes. The justice sector should be so strict and immediate, that the criminals would think umpteenth times before coloring their hands in the wrath pool.

In all, if each citizen strives to think about themselves and people around them at large and even make a small move towards helping them, without expecting anything in return which is like a myth now, it will be a world worth living in.

SAFER FUTURE FOR U AND YOUR COMMUNITY
_______________

HERE WE GO !!
_____________

The key to reducing loss of life, personal injuries, and damage from natural disasters is widespread public awareness and education. People must be made aware of what natural hazards they are likely to face in their own communities. They should know in advance what specific preparations to make before an event, what to do during a hurricane, earthquake, flood, fire, or other likely event, and what actions to take in its aftermath.

Equally important, public officials and the media — television, radio, and newspapers — must be fully prepared to respond effectively, responsibly, and speedily to large-scale natural emergencies. They need to be aware, in advance, of procedures to follow in a crisis that threatens to paralyze the entire community they serve, and they need to know how to communicate accurate information to the public during a natural disaster.

Special efforts must also be made to reach and plan for the care of particularly vulnerable segments of the population — latch-key children, the elderly, individuals in health care and correctional facilities, people with disabilities, and those who do not speak English — with information about possible disasters and what to do in an emergency.
