पेड़ बचाओ, जीवन बचाओ केवल एक नारा भर नहीं है, ये एक ज़िम्मेदारी है जिसे धरती पर रहने वाले हरेक इंसान को समझना और मानना चाहिये। पेड़ों को बचाने के द्वारा अपने स्वस्थ पर्यावरण और हरी पृथ्वी को बचाने के लिये ये हम सभी के लिये बड़ा मौका है। पेड़ धरती पर जीवन का प्रतीक है और बहुत सारे लोगों और जंगली जानवरों के लिये प्राकृतिक घर है।
आज की आधुनिक दुनिया में पेड़ों को बचाना बहुत ज़रुरी है जहाँ शहरीकरण, औद्योगिकीकरण और ग्लोबल वार्मिंग तेजी से बढ़ रहा है। ऐसे तकनीकी दुनिया में, जहाँ लोग अपने लिये केवल कार्य रहे और लड़ रहें है, केवल पेड़ दूसरों के लिये जीते हैं (इंसान और पशु)। फल, सब्जी, वनस्पति, फूल, मसाले, ठंडी छाया, दवा, जड़, वृक्ष की छाल, लकड़ी, अंकुर आदि उपलब्ध कराने के द्वारा बहुत तरीके से धरती पर जीवन पोषित करती है।

एक पूरी तरह से विकसित पेड़ बिना कुछ वापस लिये मानवता की बहुत वर्षों तक सेवा करता है। हवा को शुद्ध करने, पारिस्थितिकी संतुलन को बनाये रखने, दवा आदि उपलब्ध कराने के द्वारा ये हमें कई बीमारियों से भी बचाता है। पेड़ हमारे लिये महत्वपूर्ण संपत्ति की तरह होते हैं जो मिट्टी के कटाव से बचाती है, पशु प्रजातियों के लिये घर उपलब्ध कराती है, मिट्टी से पोषक तत्व आदि उपलब्ध कराती है। पेड़ और पर्यावरण को बचाने के लिये हम यहाँ निम्न तरीके उल्लिखित कर रहें हैं:
पेड़ों को बचाने के लिये कार्य कर रहें संगठनों से जुड़ने के द्वारा हमें अपनी तरफ से कुछ प्रभावकारी प्रयास करने चाहिये।
हमें स्वेच्छा से पेड़ों को बचाना चाहिये जिससे दूसरे लोग भी प्रेरित हो सकें।
हमें अपने परिवारजन, दोस्त, पड़ोसी, छोटे बच्चे को धरती के इस महत्वपूर्ण संसाधन को बचाने के लिये बढ़ावा देना चाहिये।
हमें समुदायिक या राज्य में पेड़ संरक्षण मुद्दे पर चर्चा या मीटिंग में भाग लेना चाहिये।
हमें अपनी नयी पीढ़ी और बच्चे को सैर या शिविरों में उन्हें ले जाने के द्वारा पेड़, प्रकृति और पर्यावरण का सम्मान करना सिखाना चाहिये।
हमें अपने आस-पास नये पेड़-पौधों को लगाना चाहिये।
It is said that save trees save environment. We, human beings can’t survive on this earth for a day without trees. Trees are the most essential part of the environment. It provides us with Oxygen to breath in and absorbs CO2 to maintain the balance in the environment. Human beings are completely dependent on trees for food, medicine and many more. But unfortunately with the rapid growth in population deforestation is taking place. The number of trees is alarmingly decreasing on the environment.
In order to live on this planet, we need to save trees. Not only human beings but all the other animals also depend on trees directly or indirectly to survive on the earth. So it is said that save trees and save animals. More plants should be planted to increase the number of plants. Awareness should be spread among people by organizing different competitions like save trees poster, save tree fancy dress competition etc. among students. We can’t save the earth without trees so it can be concluded that save trees save earth.
