Answer:India, yes I talk about it too much and I know my wing-mates will kill me for starting my blog on wing trip with talking about India instead of trip itself. Being a resident of plains of U.P., I was not much aware of mountain life and challenges there. Specially the North Eastern people, they feel alienated and their voices don’t get much public attention other than some small news paper report. These seven sisters are unexplored heaven on earth with awe striking scenic beauty and some amazing people.

Sikkim trip, I don’t know how and when this idea came at first but it got some serious consideration before end-sem exams. Sayan and Suraj worked really hard doing the background research about places to visit, trains, travel agents and most importantly planning the trip and pursuing everyone to come along which is one heck of a job. All said and done after a dreadful end semester exams (at least for me, don’t know about others), we left for some lifetime experiences on 26th of November.

After so many night outs, all my energy was drained out and being casual as I am, I packed my stuff and forgot to pack things of utmost important like toothbrush, towel etc. (I bought these things later. I don’t want to give an impression that I can live without these things for 7-8 odd days). I filled my breadth choices on ERP, locked the door and rushed to catch the cab for evening local train from Kharagpur to Hawrah. So the journey begins.

Day 0- Kharagpur(KGP) to New Jalpaiguri(NJP): Local journey from KGP to Hawrah is never a pleasant experience but since we were 10 people, so thanks to 'Bhaat sessions' we finally reached Hawrah, lost our 4 out of 10 tickets, paid fine at Hawrah (not that good a start), and hurried for Sialdah station where we had to catch Padatik express for NJP. Food was terrible that night in the train and when mess eating students say so, you gotta believe it. It was so oily that words started slipping out of my mouth (Oil decreases friction; I got to know that day). After some 'panchaayat', we slept.
