The Heart Sees What Is Invisible To The Eyes

It is unequivocally true that the heart sees what is invisible to the eye. It is imperative to know in the context that heart here refers to mind. Human mind is said to have almost infinite faculties such as imagination, intuition, creativity, innovation, etc. Eyes in themselves can’t see unless supported by mind. It is always the mind that sees through the eyes. For example, in some cases it has been seen that while sleeping some individuals sleep with their eyes open or partial open; still they don’t see. Interestingly, the mind during sleep is seeing such wondrous visions that are almost impossible to be seen during the state of being awake.

All the great inventions, discoveries; all the great books written on all subjects; all new findings, new theories; all the medicines, chemicals, etc. all conceived in the human heart. Man sees the vision of his accomplishments in his heart first before he brings it into the real world. All the high-tech, sophisticated machines, computers, rockets, satellites, vehicles, smart-phones, skyscrapers, ships, airplanes, trains, bullet trains, supersonic jets, etc. all of them were first seen by man in their hearts first before they became tangible realities.

Wright Brothers saw the airplane flying in their heart before they actually started working on the actual prototype. Addison saw the bulb lighting in his heart before he could make a bulb actually light up. Abraham Lincoln saw the possibility of abolition of slavery in his heart first before he actually accomplishes the Emancipation Proclamation. Similarly, Mahatma Gandhi saw the freedom movement in his heart before he actually launched the Indian Freedom Movement against the British.

These supernal powers lie latent in every heart waiting to be activated through striving, focus, concentration, and perseverance. All great personalities became great by tapping the immense powers of the heart. We see it working in our day-to-day life in our mothers, grandmothers or anyone who loves us truly; often when we are upset or troubled on account of anything, our mothers or grandmothers find out our trouble without our sharing the trouble with them. They use their hearts to see the hidden hurt or pain of their beloved ones.

Similarly, we too can use this immense power of our heart to see those things that are hidden to us! it may be any success that we want to achieve. Or it may be some hidden knowledge; or it might be the spiritual enlightenment that we might be pursuing, we can bring it to surface using the divine eye lying closed in our hearts.

Sometimes heart sees what eyes cannot see

This is a well known quote by H. Jackson Brown. This quote refers that emotions and feelings are only understood by heart. Our eyes cannot see the kindness and loyalties but our heart surely does. Our eyes work only with the brain and helps us see, but the inclusion of heart in the human body, not only circulates blood, but also completes our vision.

Most of us do believe that god does exist, but has anyone seen him? Obviously the answer is No, but we all feel with our own heart that God resides in this world and is responsible for the good and bad happening. If the question is raised, do you believe in God, most of us do say yes. But if someone says, since our eyes did not view the God, the God is not present, most of us wouldn't agree, as our heart sees it.

Friendship, love, affection, care, faithfulness, truthfulness .... are all the emotions and feelings observed by are heart, but not by our eyes. Eyes can see only the physical state of something, but our heart is capable of viewing the emotional state and feelings.

With our eyes, we can see that a person has a pretty smile and always happy, but only our heart can understand the deep and lonely side, which cannot be perceived by our brain and eyes. The level of understanding and bonding can only increase when our heart possess the capability of understand inner feelings.

Let us take a story to understand better:

Saru a poor boy lived in the city of Vishakapatanam. He always wandered around the streets of Vizag. One fine day, before his father's birthday, Saru with his Mom visited a cake shop to surprise their father. With a lot of difficulty they could save about 50/-. Over there, the boy saw a lovely cake of chocolate flavor with vanilla iced on it. The mom asked the keeper,

" What is the price of this cake?"

The keeper replied " Only 100/- Madam"

The boy and the mom turned sad, they were about to leave, just then a man came inside, who was a complete stranger and paid the remaining 50/-. The mom refused to take the money, and he just replied " The heart sees what my eyes cannot see" and went away. The boy gave a sweet surprise to his father.

The above story depicts the kindness and emotional feeling towards the boy and the mother of the stranger which arose the will to help the mother and the son. The stranger's eyes would have only showed that they were mother and son, who were quite poor, but his heart helped the family and organize a pleasant birthday surprise.
