Read good books that are classics. Follow the literature noble writers of 20th century. Reading few of their books will be great to have a world-view with empathy. Also read the old classic literature from europe that depics the begining of modern world around 16th century. You'll see how far we as a human race have come. Realize the value of money. Realize another extra dinner in Mainland China can buy the grocery of an under-priviledge child's family for entire month. Realize one branded product from a shopping mall can provide the medical bill of a dying under-priviledged family.Meet people from villages that live below poverty line and has very minimal needs to be happy. You'll be amazed how blessed you are. If you are an Indian this is especially true.Spend time regularly with orphans and street children. Encourage them. Be their friends. Share your resource and knowledge with them. Help them to grow.Read extensively on world issues, feminism, economics, global crisis, world history, politics from good texts that are authentic and have written by some experts. It may seems extremely boring in the beginning compared to watching an IPL match or playing with friends in off time. But if you can do it daily from now on, even a small 30 minutes per week in a regular basis can help you to get a good conscience, analytical ability to see beyond the vail of your surrounding. It'll make you grow intellectually and keep you thristy for wisdom and knowledge in the long run.
