It was organized by India's 15th Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that it was a gift for Mahatma Gandhi on his birthday which is on 2nd October. On this occasion Narendra Modi himself cleans many surroundings and also forced people to clean and make their country green and clean. For this he selected his 'Navratna'(Sachin Tendulkar, Amir Khan etc)

At last I would say cleanliness is a path towards godliness and wealthness

So come on and make our country clean and green.

Swachh Bharat! a very nice abhiyan started by our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It means Clean India ,it was started on 2nd October,2014 that was Gandhi Jayanti ,it was started on this day because our Nation Father Mahatama Gandhi's dream was of a clean India. This abhiyan was to aware all citizens of India about cleanness and tell them the importance of cleanness and also tell them about it. And this abhiyan really worked ,in schools students have been taught about this and also everyone is following this, all people involving the manager or principle of school ,all teachers and also government have swept their surroundings and promised to keep it clean .It was a very successful abhiyan and still it is going on........And one day our country would also be clean from all types of dirtiness .........
