Answer:

Teaching- the most underrated job in India

Undoubtedly, teaching is one of the most underrated jobs in India. In fact, most of the jobs are underrated in this developing country. Teaching is quite a significant job on which determines the quality and standard of all the other jobs. A teacher in every country prepares future citizens. If the future builder gets ignored or underrated, the future building certainly be affected.

Present Condition: Educational sector in India is quite vast comprising Government run schools and Private schools. In former sector the infrastructure is poor, but the pays of the teachers are very high. Everyone knows the standard of education and the quality of teachers. It is an irony that teachers who teach so poorly get the highest pays! The Government’s old reservation system in giving jobs is responsible for this bane.

In private sector, the quality of educational infrastructure is better as compared to the Governmental sector, but here again owing to the poor implementation of Government laws and corruption, the teachers are not paid on par with the teachers in Government schools. The private school owners run the schools according to their despotic approach. Only a few schools provide Government approved grades to their teachers.

The Government must look into it and try to improve the lot of teachers if it is interested in faster growth of the country.

The teachers in India are miserably underpaid. Hence, the quality of educational output is quite substandard.
