A school is a wonderful place; fortunate are people who get opportunity and facilities to attend school. Schools abound in all advanced and developing countries. India also has all types of schools. It appears as if schooling in our country has kind of become hackneyed and monotonous. An urgent need to improve school life is being felt by all.
The change that will improve school life is the change of attitude. All people involved in schooling and education should improve schooling from academic mode to practical application and skill mode. Learning quality, objectives, and technique must change.
School life can be changed phenomenally by taking care of all the aspects of schooling – not just the academics. Co-curricular activities are an integral and interesting part of schooling, it must be used optimally.
The school should be situated at a peaceful place in hundreds of acres. The infrastructure of the school should be cutting-edge and futuristically advanced. Elegant building, world class grounds, stadiums for all the key sports, swimming pool, skating rink, courts, etc. should be the main feature of that school where children should learn and play their favourite sports and games under qualified coaches.
Teachers are the soul of a school. In schools teachers should be greatly learned scientists, linguists, and mathematicians. They should be innovators in their respective fields. They should be wizards of their own subjects creating the magic of knowledge in classes. The teaching and learning should be adventurous, not in the safe mode.
The school should be completely digital in all its aspects. Advanced smart classrooms, online assignments, lectures, extra academic help, school learning app, etc. should be provided to each and every student. Online academic or co-curricular assistance should be provided to all students.
School should conduct tours, treks, field trips more often. With all these things made active, the school life can be improved.
