ORIGINAL STORY. I HOPE YOU'LL LIKE IT.
My grandmother fell ill that day and my mother had to rush to her place leaving me and my 4 year old sibling all alone. I had never babysit-ted any little child before, it was my first time.
Before my mother left, she warned me of certain things. She said that I shouldn't leave the house during this period nor allow any person other than her or father to come inside the house.
My mother had already informed my father about grandmother's sudden sickness and he said that he will try to come home as soon as possible. My mother told me everything about my sister's food ,clothes etc. and with that she left home.
Then I started off the day with a heavy sigh and looked at my sister who was still sleeping peacefully.
I did my morning routine and made our breakfast and went to wake her up. She woke up with a bright smile on her face not knowing what we were going through. She asked me where's mother. I told her that she left home for work. She smiled at me and gave me a hug. I smiled back at her.
The day was going well and fine but at times I was scared to take care of her alone in this big empty house, thinking if some thief broke in at this time what would have happened. Suddenly I heard a loud crash and heard my sister crying. My heart jumped out of shock and fear and I rushed to her. I saw that there was a cockroach and she had dropped my study table out of fear (-_-)....
I removed the cockroach and took her away from there. We spent the rest of the day playing around, drawing , dancing and singing with her. I heard the bell rang and heard my father's voice. I opened the door out of joy and let out a big sigh out of relief. Finally i wasn't feeling lonely and scared.
Later at night, my mother came back home and said that grandmother was feeling better than before.
And that's how i spent a day alone with my sibling.
