The Importance Of Sleep On Students
Not only that having poor sleeping habits affects the student’s concentration at school, but also their academic statuses. According to Rosario (2014) students will be more creative and attain higher grades in school if they have sufficient and enough sleep. If a student is sleep deprived, their academic performance can be affected.
- There is a possibility that they will be not paying attention in class or they will fall asleep during the class discussions. Pelayo (2015) said that students’ shouldn’t stay up all night just to study or in the end, they’ll just lose everything. It is important to have a complete cycle of sleep so students’ minds could work properly.
- If they are staying up late, there is chance that all their sacrifices for studying or memorizing will be neglected. Regulating the right amount of sleep for students will improve their academic statuses.
Furthermore, Mccullough (2015) found that sleep loss doesn’t just affects the students’ grades negatively, but their studying as a whole.
